GEOTHERMY
GEOTHERMY

The advantages of geothermy
Very economical heating system. About 66% less expensive to use than an electrical system.
It allows for the conditioning of air with cold water, through a central unit ventilator or built-in cabinets in each room, all without having an unattractive and sometimes noisy outdoor unit.
What you need to know…
There are three types of geothermal pumps: water-water, water-air, and combined water-air and water units. We prefer to use water-water and water-air models, as the combination units have some flaws. The unit must meet the radiant and ventilation needs, its power is often too high. The fan is therefore too powerful for the home’s needs and short heating cycles will generate high maintenance costs.
Heating Sources
Electrical System
An electric boiler is 100% efficient. In Quebec, this energy is renewable and green. The electric radiant heating system is the most affordable to purchase. Read more
Gas System
Very large heating capacity which allows heating of a large space without overloading the electrical input. Coupled with a generator, a gas furnace gives us security. Read more
